The S.K.R.Pupils welfare society is a Non-Governmental voluntary organization. It was registered under the Society Registration Act 1860, under registration No: 82/1999 dated 08‐02‐1999 government of Andhra Pradesh. Having recognized by Govt. of .A.P. It was started with an aim to cater the needs of all types of differently abled in rural and urban areas. Especially in rural areas, the appropriate growth and development is still lagging behind with respect to persons with different abilities. This might be due to lack of appropriate services, opportunities and also having less knowledge among people about Equality, Freedom, Justice and dignity for differently abled persons just like those having for common man. In view to render all sorts of services for Education, Welfare & Rehabilitation of persons with different abilities and people below poverty line, Sri. S. Anjaneyulu (Secretary & Correspondent) has laid the foundation of S.K.R. Pupils Welfare Society in the year 1999. Its sister organization S.K.R. Special School for Deaf affiliated to S.K.R Pupils Welfare Society, is a flagship rehabilitation centre for differently abled, which plays a vital role in Prevention, Correction, Minimization of affect of disability and Providing equalization of opportunities, awareness, protection of rights, respect, dignity, enhancing the quality of life and integration of persons with different abilities into the mainstreams of society.
