Introduction:

The S.K.R. Pupils Welfare Society is a Non Government Voluntary Organization. it was
registered under the Society's Registration Act 1860,Rg.No.82/1999 dated 08‐02‐1999 Government of Andhra Pradesh. Having recognized by Govt. of A.P. Under Persons with Disabilities Act 1995 under Recognized No.02/03 dated 10‐10‐2003 and also registered in National Trust with No.0135/MR/04. Under the Income Tax Act 1961 u/s 12A (a) and 80G Registration H.Q.No.(190)/R‐GNT/04‐05 dated 23.06.2004.

It was started with an aim to cater the needs of all types of differently abled of the rural and urban areas. During survey of certain villages, it has been found that many Mentally Retarded and Hearing impaired Children have been badly neglected by their own parents and they are being treated as mad and less Knowledge persons and harassed under the above circumstances.

The S.K.R. Manasika Vikas Kendram & Deaf School has been started to look after, the care and development of the Mentally Retarded and Hearing impaired Children. The Government of India in its order No.010330131 dated 11‐03‐2003 permitted to receive donations from Abroad under section 6(1) of the F.C.R.A.

The Founder & Secretary Sri S.ANJANEYULU, M.A., B.Ed. (General), B.Ed.Spl.Edn.(MR), is a dedicated worker and taking up various welfare activities in the areas of disability and other programmes in urban and rural areas to the persons who are below poverty line, irrespective of caste, creed, sex and religion.

Our Mission:

To enable the differently abled, in improving their quality of life by providing Quality Education With Trained Teachers, and caring them with Dedicated Staff and make them meaningful independent participatory adult role in the society.

Reach the un‐reached through provision of quality and quantity of services for better
lives of differently abled.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

  • To establish Child Health Care centres.
  • To establish Old aged Homes to Women and Men.
  • To establish blind, handicapped, Mental challenged Schools.
  • To establish Technical and Vocational Centres.
  • To establish all types of training centres for Women.
  • To establish reading rooms and Library.
  • To conduct Medical Camps, Eye Camps, Nutrition Programmes to poor children, adult Education programmes and Family planning programmes.
  • To construct rural sanitary latrines and Houses to poor people.
  • To Assist the Government in implementing social welfare and such welfare Programmes for the uplift of the poor and need people and to implement and Assist in equal distribution of gratuities among the members.
  • To establish residential homes with free boarding for the children's of poor, handicapped and the children of economically backward people.
  • To establish Hospitals for destitute and poor.
  • Provisions of environmental improvement for village community through Social forestry, Sanitary installations, drainage and roads etc.
  • To provide drinking water supply in cities and rural area.
  • To establish Child homes, holiday camps for children.
  • To help poor agriculturists for needs and fertilizers.
  • To undertake rehabilitation centers for orphans, street children, reduced children, exploited children and child labour, by establishing schools, Hostels and
    orphanages.
  • To conduct seminars on rural development, roads environment awareness, anti alcohol, anti drug programmes, child health development, Health development for
    women, anti down scientific development.
